You may require an arborist’s report if you are doing construction and or if you want to remove a tree.

To obtain a building permit you may need a tree/forestry permit. In order to remove or injure a tree you will need a permit, To get a permit you will need a tree report (arborist report) prepared by a tree care specialist such as an arborist or forester.  The report can be as simple as describing one tree or may include hundreds of trees.  The report will describe the reason for the requested permit; that could be construction or it could be that a tree has become a nuisance or danger. The report details each tree’s condition and describes its protection or justifies removal.

We will submit the report on your behalf and manage its progress. You have to sign an application and that is all you have to do. It takes 2-3 weeks for the City to respond to an application.

We pride in writing concise reports that agencies review easily. Good representation in this matter is very important. Lost time and unnecessary protective measures are costly.
